Hello!

Ginger Harper - Bowen Therapist
Hello! My name’s Ginger. I’m a Bowen Therapist, Visual Artist and curious human who loves helping people reconnect with their bodies.
I came to Bowen Therapy like many do, through searching for something to help my chronically aching shoulder. Bowen was so effective for me that I ‘just had to' study it and share what I learned (and continue to learn) with others who may benefit.
My work blends hands-on bodywork with gentle imaginative approaches to healing, especially for people navigating pain that doesn’t always make sense or fit neatly into words.
When visiting my clinic, you’ll enter through my art studio and into the clinic space, where you’ll be cocooned in a relaxed and welcoming vibe that’s safe for you to breathe out and repair in.
My hope is that Bowen offers your body a gentle platform to express its stories through. I’d love to have a chat to see if it’s something right for you!

Hello Bowen Therapy!
Fascia. It’s a word we’ve heard, and an organ many don’t know much about.
Organ?? Really?
Yes, that’s right! Fascia is emerging as being recognised as one of the two largest organs of the body, right up there with the skin. Pretty amazing right?
Fascia is a strong stretchy layer of soft tissue that wraps around and connects through, and to, every part of your body; from bones to skin. It’s essential for movement, healing and protection.
When Our bodies aren’t functioning as they should, fascia plays a key role in getting things back on track. That’s where Bowen Therapy comes in.
During a treatment, you will sit lay or stand; we chose a position most comfortable for you. you’ll be wearing light comfortable clothing and we’ll use gentle yet purposeful movements on areas of your body where fascia tends to be denser, helping restore balance and promote change.
The leg bone's connected to the knee bone. Fascia is connected to everything!
